On April 28, 2006, Hand Held Products, Inc. (HHP) filed a petition seeking a determination that the hearing aid compatibility obligations in Part 20 of the Commission’s rules do not apply to HHP’s mobile computing devices.1 On January 18, 2007, the Wireless Telecommunications Bureau released a Public Notice requesting comment on HHP’s Petition.2 On May 25, 2012, HHP filed a request to withdraw the Petition as moot.3 We grant HHP’s request to withdraw its Petition. 2. Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED, pursuant to sections 4(i)-(j) of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended, 47 U.S.C. §§ 154(i)-(j), and pursuant to the authority delegated under sections 0.131 and 0.331 of the Commission’s Rules, 47 C.F.R. §§ 0.131, 0.331, that HHP’s request to withdraw the Petition IS GRANTED.
