AMSC-1SAT-MOD-20111128-00228 E Effective Date: 03/22/2012Grant of Authority 12/31/2011 - 12/31/2012Modification LightSquared Subsidiary LLC Nature of Service: Fixed Satellite Service, Mobile Satellite Service On March 22, 2012, the Satellite Division granted the application of LightSquared Subsidiary LLC to extend the license term of the MSAT-2 space station at 103.3º W.L. until December 31, 2012, in order to afford more time to transition customers from MSAT-2 to LightSquared's second-generation space station, SkyTerra-1. MSAT-2 provides service to customers in the following frequency bands: 1530-1544 MHz (space-to-Earth), 1545-1559 MHz (space-to-Earth), 1631.5-1645.5 MHz (Earth-to-space), 1646.6-1660.5 MHz (Earth-to-space). Feeder links for MSAT-2 are in the 13.0-13.15 GHz and 13.20-13.25 GHz frequency bands.
