Accordingly, Intelsat is authorized to operate Intelsat 22 at the 72.1° E.L. orbital location to provide fixed-satellite service using the 3625-4200 MHz (space-to-Earth), 5850-6425 MHz (Earth-to-space), 11.45-11.7 GHz (space-to-Earth), 12.25-12.75 GHz (space-to-Earth), and 14.0-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands. Intelsat is also authorized to perform telemetry, tracking, and telecommand operations necessary to maintain Intelsat 22 at the 72.1º E.L. orbital location using the center frequencies of 4197.25/4198.25 MHz or 4197.75/4198.75 MHz, 5850.5 MHz, and 6424.5 MHz. Intelsat 22 contains an Ultra-High Frequency payload capable of operating in the 292.835-317.33 MHz and 243.52-268.16 MHz frequency bands. The grant indicates the FCC’s consent to Australia acting as the ITU Notifying and Licensing Administration for the UHF payload on Intelsat 22 at 72.1º E.L. Nature of Service: Direct to Home Fixed Satellite, Fixed Satellite Service On March 15, 2012, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, the petition filed by New Skies Satellites B.V. to add the SES-4 space station to the Commission's Permitted Space Station List at the 22° W.L. orbital location in the 3700-4200 MHz (space-to-Earth), 5925-6425 MHz (Earth-to-space), 11.7-12.2 GHz (space-to-Earth), and 14.0-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands. New Skies is licensed by the Netherlands. The Satellite Division also granted the request of New Skies for U.S. market access using the 3625-3700 MHz (space-to-Earth), 5850-5925 MHz (Earth-to-space), 10.95-11.20 GHz (space-to-Earth), 11.45-11.70 GHz (space-to-Earth), and 13.75-14.00 GHz (Earth-to-Space) to provide fixed-satellite service and for tracking, telemetry and command operations with center frequencies of 14.496 GHz (Earth-to-space), 14.499 GHz (Earth-to-space), 11.451 GHz (space-to-Earth), and 11.454 GHz (space-to-Earth). On March 15, 2012, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority to SES Americom, Inc., for a period of 60 days, to continue to perform telemetry, tracking and telecommand operations necessary to maintain AMC-3 at the 67° W.L. orbital location using the following C- and Ku-band frequencies: 6423.5 MHz (vertical polarization; Earth-to-space), 3700.5 MHz (vertical polarization; space-to-Earth), 4199.5 MHz (horizontal polarization; space-to-Earth), and 12198.0 MHz (horizontal polarization; space-to-Earth). Additionally, SES Americom is authorized to operate the AMC-3 space station in the conventional Ku-band frequencies of 11.7-12.2 GHz (space-to-Earth) and 14.0-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space) to provide fixed-satellite service, including direct-to-home service, temporarily from the 67º W.L. orbital location.
