On September 4, 1996, Century Communications Corporation (“ Century”) filed with the Commission a Petition for Review of Rate Order adopted by the City of Bayard, New Mexico (“ City”), on August 5, 1996. Century also filed an Emergency Petition for Stay of Enforcement Pending Review on October 28, 1996. The Cable Services Bureau granted the petition for stay in a Memorandum Opinion and Order on January 24, 1997. 1 2. In a letter filed on March 10, 2003, Comcast Cablevision Corporation of California, a subsidiary of Comcast Cable Communications, Inc. (“ Comcast”) informed the Commission that subsequent to the submission of the petitions, Comcast acquired the Bayard system and now requests that the petitions filed by Century be dismissed. 3. Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED that the Request to Dismiss the Petition for Review of Rate Order filed by Comcast Cablevision Corporation of California, a subsidiary of Comcast Cable Communications, Inc. IS GRANTED, the Petition filed by Century Communications Corporation on September 4, 1996 IS DISMISSED, and the Memorandum Opinion and Order granting the Emergency Petition for Stay of Enforcement Pending Review IS VACATED. 4.
